Hi, im new to the forum and have recently got myself a 96 spec Integra Type R so bear with me if this question has been asked a million times. Ive found a set of wheels I like but unsure whether im going abit mad on the width? There 16" with 7j et15 on front and 8j et20 on rears, how much work would the arches need and what size tires would you recommend?

You're going to need to at least roll the fenders to fit the front wheels with properly sized tires. But, there's really no practical/safe way to fit the rear wheels without flares or some method of increasing tire/wheel clearance.
