i too am building a 93 sol si. b18b swap, cable ys1 trans. almost running

you could try to trade your cable trans for a hydro. or you could just go buy a hydro one. What are your plans for it in the future? upcoming mods?

I really don't want to bother with getting rid of the transmission I already bought I think I'm going to try to run it anyway just wire up my own cables to the clutch I've heard it can be done and as far as future mods I'm unemployed I worked my way here trading cars and recreational vehicles for the del sol shell and I had payed 650 on a green del sol and I traded the fake hood and transferred payments no money back for the b18 and transmission the car was already a b series so I had the harness mounts linkage and ecu already this being said I think when it's running it'll stay as is for a while I'm going to get a new job soon enough and I would love to put a turbo on it and I have steelies on it I'm trying hard to find rims that someone will trade for a amp and some swords and a tv lol things I don't want for things I do

i was actually torn between several motor swaps for this car a few were readily available i was seriously considering a d15 d16 vtec mini me si tranny for ease since they came d series but then i got digging and found that it was a b series set up already the motor and tranny were taken out before i got it but it had the mounts and linkage and harness and ecu that all matched a b series motor so im definitely going b18 ls but i also considered seriously an f22 vtec because theyre lighter and push pretty good for a single cam but here i am decision made its gonna have a b18 running and lookin hot by the next sol trains convention in the spring hopefully in the next few weeks but with school im pressed on time

do you have a del sol vtec shift linkage? anything else won't fit. you'll have to cut/weld it. i have a cable trans on my b18. make sure u find a mount for it. it takes a special mount. i had to order it from hasport for like $170. it's the cable trans into eg mount. no one has them apparently. can't find them used anywhere. you'll also need a rear T transmission bracket from a 99-00 Si. and the 3 bolt mount for the drivers side. you can't use the LS one. it'll make the engine sit too high, and axles won't sit right.

they were on the car idk where they got em like i said this car had a complete b series swap in it previously someone put a lot of money in it i have to fix the strut tower its broken i have to bend it back together and either have my dad weld it or drill through on both sides of the crack and bolt brackets on it but if you have the car jacked up the crack is so bad you can bend the tower up by lifting up on the tire

the car became too big of a hassle because the strut tower and my lack of time to do swapping with the transmission so im selling it $1000 or trade for a nice clean modded teg shell
