Default Front sway for 00 ex coupe

Have a 22mm Progress on the rear with Function7 brace/lca's but it looks like progress doesn't make a front sway for 96-00. Another option I've been looking at was Eibach Sway Bar Kit (26mm), however I have no clue how well eibach's sway bars are.

Does anyone have any input on front sways for 96-00 ex coupes?

Why are you upgrading? Are you just assuming bigger is better?

If you browse the AutoX forums a lot of the Civic drivers say the 22mm is an upgrade from the 26mm.

And I could see why, I've got a 22mm front sway bar, from an ex, and a progress 22mm rear sway. The 22mm front bar was perfect for eliminating under-steer. I imagine if you beefed it up even more you'd re-introduce under-steer.

Assuming that with 550/650 rates, I'd be looking at over-steer.. so going 26 and re-introducing that under-steer would help balance out. Could go 550/450 and stay with both bars @ 22mm.

You could go to a 24mm? Middle of the road I guess?

I run a 26mm SI bar in the front of my car, and I like it. Granted, this is only spirited driving.

Will you be tracking the car?

For the 26mm if you want to keep it OEM. Your only options are the SI/CTR bar. Which will require, SI/CTR Lca's and shock forks.

I have no clue on the Eibach bar, but if it's anything like the other products they make, I'd say they're just fine.

I hated the 26MM bar. I just felt like the rear needed too much bar or spring rates to compensate. I'd leave the 22MM.

To reiterate, this is the general consensus of autocrosser I've spoken to both at events and what I've read in the autocross forums here.

Most people say the 22mm is an upgrade from the 26mm.
