Default B series tranny gurus

what cable trans came i the US? i wnt shor gear ratios, so how can i go about getting the shortest possible gear ratio on a US spec tranny(read easily replaceable parts) i also at the moment have a Y1 w/ LSD. would that move over to the US tranny ?

The only B series VTEC cable trans that came in the US was the YS1. This was found in the 92-93 B17A powered GS-R. not sure what you mean by move over to the US tranny....?

i wanna move my LSD i currently have in thsi tranny to a US trans. i want a shorter gear ratio. whats the shortest gear ratio i cang et in a cable trans, and where can i find one? i would also like to be able to rebuild it as soon as i get it. therfore i want to be able to redily get hte parts in the US

Shortest geared US cable trans is the YS1 from the 92-93 GSR, and afaik your LSD should work using the GSR ring gear.

i have the ys1 and the gearing is very short(from personal experience). im not sure what the specs are though

considering there was only a few b17's produced a usdm ys1 tranny will not be to easy to find, unless it was used on the gs's also.
