well i recently bought a 96 ek with the front end of a 99-00. well long story short i want to get new fenders and a door, (also came with a different door). which year of fenders would i have to get, a 99-00 right? and also what door should i get. if this is posted in the wrong place can someone direct me where i should post this, thank you .. ohh and what would be the best thing to do to get that dent near the door?

i have a d16y8, im not passing smog because my o2 sensor isnt reseting, does anyone know why thats a problem?thanks again

 

a facelift conversion is the following parts from EK99-00 hood, fenders ,headlights, grill ,bumper, Rad support panel but rad support panel is optional..
ALL other panels are the same just EK 96-00

O2 sensor it will not pass smog as the ECU dont know if the car is running rich or lean
its an easy fix just replace it disconnect your battery when you doing it to allow the ECU to reset

 

thanks just making sure as i dont want to buy parts that dont fit lol but forsure i need the o2? the dude just said drive it some more, but i drove it enough miles to where it SHOULD have reset. guess its messed up then? idk im just not tryna spend money i dont have lol

 

O2 is only good for around 80-100,000Km's
they do wear out and need replacing

 

You could fix that dent with a stud welder and slide hammer I'd bet. It is hard to tell without a good picture of it however.
