Camber Kits and LCA's
Can anyone post up experience with camber kits? I had a blow out due to poor camber. Got new tires on my gsr fat fives and want to correct the camber.
Who has tried what type and brand? Pro's and Con's
Do LCA's help the rear end? Pro's and Con's?
Need immediate response. Local tuner shops are useless and most don't talk unless you buy.. I need knowledge on this before I actually buy.
Help
Thanks in advance.

Lots of people don't really like camber kits. I'm not sure why. I can say that what company you order from determines the quality of the bushings you get so I'd say you probably get what you pay for with camber kits. There's some debate about how much camber screws up your treadwear so if your having problems the culprit might actually be some other problem (like improper toe).
Honestly if you're having problems with your suspension the best advice is to raise your car a bit, since the suspension wasn't exactly designed to function properly slammed.
Not sure what you're asking about the LCAs.

Here is what I found reading around the forum.
Getting a bushing set to replace the front suspension bushings would help.
I found this at Energy Suspension. http://www.energysuspensionparts.com...rod=16%2E18105
This seems pretty complete though
I have the Ingalls front camber kit, with very good results, although camber is not what wears out tires, [unless it is way "off"] improper toe will have a much bigger effect on tire wear.
New bushings on older cars can make a huge diff., I will be doing all mine this winter, already have the kit you linked, in black. 94

I am really trying not to get a camber kit now having since read the thread by PatrickGSR94

I really want to stop the squeaking crap.. EMBARASSING as HELL!!
It seems to be a pretty intense install and I am still new compared to others on the board. I have to buy tools to do certain things. I really do not want to buy another set of tires because of this.
From what I read, bushings is the way to go. I really hope this is will cure the squeaking noise along with a proper alignment.
I still am not sure about the LCA's if I need to go that route but I am curious of the pros and cons on them.

i have function 7 control arms = BADDASS along with the brace... sexi combo! but a bit pricey i'll admit but i would round out to these choices.... skunk2 (the newer ones) and function 7's, for the camber kits? skunk2 hands down i have em... love em!
agreed, i have skunk2 cambers also. the rears have a little surface rust now, but thats not a big deal to me.
@Gagnar... I am looking into a Hardrace front bushing but need experienced opinions as well as the actual link to the correct set.
@BigDaddyRich Sounds good but real expensive.

Go to hardrace.com and get the full set for your car. It's pretty easy to find.
I have PIC/SUJA1 bushings but AFAIK the kits and product are pretty similar.

Now that I have read more on Camber Kit's.. Maintenance works the same way as OEM arms.
I am going to stick with factory bushings so I can schedule an alignment on a regular basis.
BUT I am looking for decent set. Hardrace are pricey. Not sure I want the FULL set.
Can anyone tell me if I can just get the front suspension kit or do I need the entire set? I did notice that there is a strut set. I need more clarification on that.
