you would have to use the whole GSR harness b/c it is a GSR motor you are putting in the DA. So you would need a GSR ECU too.

No you don't. Don't post BS info if you don't know first hand.

OP: You can reuse all of your mounts but you must use the driver side engine bracket that was on your original engine, that way the engine lines up correctly. You can reuse your original engine harness and add the knock sensor, IABs aka secondary butterflies, and VTEC wires.

I didn't hook up the IABs since I am using a skunk2 manifold. Didn't affect any performance or check engine light issues either.

You can use either the GSR P72 ecu 94-95 OR P61 92-93 (92-93 integra GSR) OR P30 (Del Sol VTEC 94-95) All are OBD1. All will work fine if you don't want to chip a P28 instead.

Also you can reuse your ls tranny. Works fine with that engine and probably save you on gas money. Or if you're have any skills, swap the B18C1 gears into the cable tranny. It's a bolt on affair. You might have to shimm the diff though... minor and very easy to do IMO.

I swapped a hydro B16 tranny gears into my YS1 tranny and it's fun having these gears. I personally wouldn't buy any of the ebay tranny conversion kits. I've seen it first hand.... crappy quality. Do it right the first time and get a quality kit: hasport, etc....

Accessibility would be my guess? At that point you might as well use a B16A as it'll be much easier to find.

I would personally buy a set of swap mounts so you know the mounts are fresh to go along with your new conversion. Just my $.02 Depending on what year GSR swap your looking for, I do have a 99GSR with tranny. Just putting it out there if your having issues sourcing one.
