95' DB8- Odd electrical issues after swap
I decided to pull my Gs-R motor from my Integra and replace it with a JDM B20b (1997) motor. I made my own harness and de-pinned/ pinned the harness. After finishing the swap it started right up, although the stater was arching lightly to the trans. I had the plastic cover over it an I still would arc on start. The motor ran a tad rough (had a CEL), but ran fair. I had chipped the P-75 Ecu on a map I had made and figured it was a corrupt file so I changed the ECU out for a stock one. After I exchanged the ECU the car refuses to start. It acts as if there is a short and turns all the accessories on with the key completely out along with turning the fan on when I turn it over. I have no fuel pump priming anymore or any crank.
Thing I tried:
Main relay
Checked fuses
Different ECU
Re checking pins
Clutch pedal switch
Burned wiring
Tight harness plugs
I have been building motors for several years and have done a ton of swaps into the same chassis with no issues. What puzzles me is that it started right up and now decides to not turn anything in besides the acc. If anyone has some intelligent ideas or odd experiences like this please share.
