Honda Civic lx 98 radiator fan not working
I need help please..... I have had a few problem with this Honda. I recently have had a misfire in the 3rd and 4th cylinder and I gave it a tune up. New spark plug wires, new spark plugs, new thermostat, new distributor cap and rotor. Took care of the misfire problem then I had a leak in the radiator, in which some may frown upon I used radiator leak stop fluid and it works AWESOME... for a few days.... I bought a new radiator and it is CAKE to install but I noticed my fan is not working on the passenger side. My air-conditioner works awesome and the driver side heating fan works B-E-A-utiful. However the fan on the passenger side (cooling fan?) doesn't turn on worth a darn and steps i took are the following.
1) Swapped fuses to see if the fuse is bad. (still good)
2) swapped relays to see if relay is bad. (still good)
Neither of which are the problem. I'm at a loss and thinking that the fan engine is blown. I've seen that a wire fed from the battery could be a way to check if fan is working. Is that the problem? I'll try it....other than that is there anything else i should try for this radiator fan/cooling fan problem?
HELP PLEASE... also will it effect my new radiator if I install it before fixing this problem.

Test the radiator fan with 12v battery power. With the radiator fan not working, you may experience overheating when idling even with a new radiator.
btw: You posted in the wrong forum.

I have done this the fan works I hooked it up and it does work when hooked up to the battery. Then I replaced the relay and fuses but still no fan. The passenger side will not turn on for anything. Is there anything else I can check for? I've put the new radiator in after I tested the fan after. Does that fan work directly with with the switch or is the passenger fan always come on?
