I love how skunk2 always hates on the "knock off" replicas...

Yet when they dyno tune their new header... it's just against replicas.

Why would a company trying to introduce a new product for the B-series platform show testing against what 90% of that market's consumers are buying (replicas)???

Yes im researching this header i just found out about! in all honesty i bet there alpha and like the ebay or obx tri y header (rep) flow pretty much the same. It just has the sk2 name, but idk its at a reasonable price compared to there mega series header but then again for $200 i can get a tri y obx header that has a lifetime warranty that will give similar results in flow.

 

I guess they just wanted to make a cheap header to compete with the replicas cause there mega series header is too pricey for the average honda tuner and there being out sold like crazy! or there just bored and want to make a new header for the B series.

 

Now it's even cheaper to become "Skunk2 Certified"

I'm not going to bash. The more headers available the better because everything has moved to K series and B series parts are being forgotten.

 

Alot of thing, whether "real" or replica's are basically the same on SOME things, no matter what it is in the world. The only reason some things are "better" are because of the name placed on it. A Name and higher price doesn't always mean it is better.

exactly! sk2 was an old school name that suported the B series long before many others! The K is like this new sensation! still to pricey for me to concider droping the B series in the shadows! illl always rock the B and im always looking for new products that were made for the B series! got to love them for that! its like there poor man header, if you got the extra cash they got a better header for you, works for me! im actually looking for a tri y header to test out but idk i can get a similar header for much less. but i just might pic it up since ill be using allot more sk2 products on my new setup, even though years back i had a full sk2 motor and there titanium cam gears gave and destroyed the motor shortly after the dyno! and they were the worst at helping me they didnt do **** for me! im very very surprised that even till this day i still use there products.. cause for a while i was anti sk2, i just gave up bashing there name..

 

Everything skunk2 makes is so innovative and cutting edge

 

$340 is a really good deal IMHO especially if it performs as claimed. Only one way to find dout. Props to Skunk2 for still devloping and offering parts for the dinosaur B-Series motor

 

Now we just need the guys at PROfunction to test it versus the Bisi header and start a new war with the results.

 

For the price range IMO it is an extremely good deal. Would I put one on some budget beater car? Sure. I'll stick with the JDM 4-1 and the TODA 4-2-1 though.
