Default Lowering a 91 Accord

I recently bought a 91 Accord and I want to lower it about 2". What is a good brand to use and keep good ride quality? I don't want to go the cheap e-bay route.

How low is it? I'm not wanting mine slammed, I just want to take the gap out of the fenderwells. Nothing to extreme for me.

Function & Form Type 1 coilovers. You won't regret! Just save til you can afford it.

Go with H&R O.E. sport springs and Koni SRT.R shocks.

It only lowers .75, but the ride quality will still be decent. IMO any coilover that cost $600 will likely be of low quality

A pic would be awesome. The rims I put on my car are still 15", I did that so I'ld still have a side wall on the tires. I'm hoping that will help with ride quality once it's lowered.

Why do you think that a $600 set of coils will be low quality? I'ld think that about a $100 set off of e-bay.

That's exactly the drop I'm looking for. How does it ride and handle?

i have heard that the tein s techs are pretty good. never tried them tho. I have also heard good things about eibach springs. i actually just ordered a set from tirerack. i think both will give you about an inch to inch and a half drop. hope that helps

For me it rides real and handles awsome. And it even plows through the snow like nothing so it is good. But I am not 100% sure what I have for springs and shocks.

Thanks bro, I've only had it for about a month and a half. It need paint badly. It's faded on top and the clear is pealing off. I already have the paint for it, I just need to get off my *** and get to work on it.

The H&R's are what I have, the ride quality is the same as stock. Lowering springs are much better ride quality than coil-overs.

H&R's take you down 2.25 F&R, the only other spring that is lower are Sprint Extremes @ 3".

Have you joined CB7tuner? You should.

My car-visual reference.

Haha, well don't give up. That seriously makes me miss my '90 coupe. And lowered it will look even better!
