Honda-Tech.com, it's a small world.
Someone on H-T got me hooked up with the guy who sold me my ZC CRX, but he didn't know a lot about the hisotry of the car. Looking on my hood I saw where it once said "JAPAN DIRECT" so I asked in member's corner about it and found a shop around Raleigh by that name. Then someone else pointed out that my car sounded like one owned by someone from Japan Direct. Then that guy is on H-T too! I e-mailed him and learned lots of stuff about my car.
He bought the car for $100 with a bad fuel pump. His wife was driving it and the clutch cable broke so he dumped the engine/transmission and put in the ZC engine, Si tranny, ZC ECU. He put on the AEM CAI, the ZC hood, Japanese drop out suspension, sway bars, basically built the car. He told me he took it to the track and it consecutively ran 15.1 with full interior.
Great to know all this stuff, good to have baseline performance too. Now I can better ask questions about my car and maybe be able to answer some.
