I have seen my first question on this site but have not seen a straight answer.

1. My 94 Honda Accord DX has been runnimng fine until recently, When I go to start my engine "cold" it idles very rough and acts like it will die. The problem has been very sporadic until now. (It use to do this after sitting for 8-9 hours) Now it does it after 2-3 hours of sitting. After about 30 seconds it runs fine.

I have seen several diagnoses to this problem.. Bad fuel pump, coolant leaking, misfiring, and I just don't know where to start.

2. My car will heat up when I idle for a minute or two, when the A/C is on it will heat up quickly (almost hit red in about 30 seconds) but when I start driving it will go back to normal temp. I have noticed the driver side fan never turns on, but the passenger fan will stay on 5-10 minutes after I have turned my car off (I heard this is the computer telling the fan to run because the car is to warm)

Coolant is full?

1. Test for leaking head gasket....which might be the result of #2
2. Ac on, do both fans run?
2.a., ac off let the car sit in the driveway for 20~30 minutes (or more, depends on outside temps)-always keeping an eye on the temp and shut off it it goes HOT-do both fans cycle on and off as the temp startes to climb.....I call hot 3/4 (2 o'clock) on the gauge, if it goes more than that, IMO-damage is being done.

Well, there is a prolem then.....

Put 12v directly to the motor, does it run? We can go from there.
