can timing set off the crank angle sensor?
I am freakin out here with my mpfi swap on my 90 Dx because I can't rid of the code 4 which is the crank angle sensor. I know the dizzy is good because it started my friends car up with no problems without hitting code 4. I checked all my wiring and it looks right. My other friend told me my timing is off but a performance shop fixed all that when they polished my head. Please help me, I've been stuck for almost a month now!! Is there something I'm missing?
what type of disributor do you have? is your friend's car MPFI?
the function of the crank angle sensor is to tell the injectors when to fire.

yes, I do have the si dizzy but still get code 4. any thoughts man? let me know so I can get my car fixed soon. my friend has the basic setup si(d16a6) and I have a Dx head with a 94 EX intake manifold. hopefully that info helps!!
are you sure your wiring from the crank angle sensor to the ecu is correct? Should have wire from ecu pin c21 to the blue/green and from ecu pin c29 to the blue/yellow.
