As far as quality goes does anyone know how the usdm recaros hold up. I really like the look of them, i sat in them and they feel amazing. I can get them for about the same price as some sparco torinos. I havent sat in the torinos but how do they compare. Im not sure but the material that the recaros are made out of look like it might stain easily. Any imput?

 

i've seen the black ones in person...and yes, they are very nice and comfy. for an R, i'd get the recaros before the sparcos, but thats just me.. i think they will age well, but that totally depends on what conditions they are kept, regardless of what type of seat.... i heard red will tend to fade, but if you can keep them garaged and clean, you should be okay..

 

If you're talking about the Recaro SRD, yes they are nicey nice

i agree, torino's were uncomfortable even tho they recline. the paddin sux on them.

 

I have the black SRD's and my friend had (car was stolen ) the red SRD's. The material on the black ones seems more durable then the red.

I love mine. Frabic is all right, nothing special. I plan to rewrap in red leather when the fabric wears down. I sat in the Torinos and they suck ***, kidney bolsters are too tight and shoulder flares are too little. The recaros hold me good. If you get Recaro's you won't regret it.

just a warning...RECAROS fade also especially red...I've sat in both actually...I don't like the quality of the fabric on the SRD (USDM) Right now I have black Sparco Torinos, very happy with them...what i really want is the Black JDM Recaros.

 

what is the difference between the USDM recaros and the JDM recaros..look the same to me

 

JDM Honda Recaros are made out of the fake suede material like the USDM ITR seats have. Much more durable then fabric.

yeah you can tell by looking at the jdm's that there are much more durible but there too much money for me im gonna go with usdm's

 

yeah...the price for the JDMs just isn't justifiable to me.

How much can a USMD SRD go for?

 

i want these seats bad, wheres a good place to buy them at a good price? best ive found is $525 each.

 

Oh my god those seats are so beautiful. 525 per seat huh? not that bad. Well right now i cant get them yet so i got me a Mini one that holds my phone. I love those too!!!

I got mine from James Chan at performance-evolution.com He's a great guy. I got mine for 500 a piece (the best price I've seen for new Recaro's to date) and 20dollars for shipping (that's right, I don't know how he did it but shipping was 20 per seat). I paid 1040 for both my seats.

 

yeah that is a good price. my friend works at a preformance shop that is the only retailer of recaro in canada and he can get me his price on them. 700 canadian each which is just under 500, i think around 450.

 

i would get the torinos over the recaros, just my personal preferance i like the material better and wont fade like the recaros will.

 

I prefer the JDM Recaros over the USDM ones.. The material is nicer than the normal Recaro material.

 

Someone have a photo of the black ones? Are they solid black or have a check pattern in the middle? I cant tell by looking at recaro's website. Thanks-

 

those are in a prelude right? how much did you get the rails, sliders etc for? any links would be handy too.
