Default SRS Light

I have an s2000 steering wheel on my 5th gen that was installed by the previous owner. The air bag wiring do not match up so I do not have an airbag on my driver side. Does anyone know how to disable the light? Somehow turn the light off?

other than fixing the problem that is causing the air bag code. . . no real way that i know of to turn off the light except for just pulling the bulb out of the cluster. maybe look for the srs relay / fuse and pull in but i bet that will not work.

You can put a two ohm resistor across the connector to fake out the system to think there is an airbag plugged in.

Pulling the fuse will not work.
