B18c block with b16 head timing gear
I have a b16 head that i am about to put on a b18c block, but the block is missing the cranks timing gear. which crank timing gears can i use for this set up? And what are the torque settings for the head onto the block with arp head studs? any help would be appreicated thanks.
All B series should be the same. Depending if you're using the weird OBD2 crank sensor determines which you can use. OBD1 has a plain gear, OBD2 has a gear with teeth on the back for the sensor. I'd look up the part number for the B16 to verify if something will work.
All B series crank pulleys are interchangeable. The snout diameter is the same. The TDC mark is always going to be the same.
You are limited to B series parts I believe. D series crank pulleys and gears are smaller and H/F/K are larger.
