For those who go to Lime Rock, where do you stay? For example, I found a handful that are only 10 minutes from the track, as listed on Lime Rock's website. Can anyone recommend a place? I need to know for the NASA event on Nov. 11th.

Also, there is a Holiday Inn Express in Great Barrington MA. It is about 15 minutes from the track. I would definately recommend staying in Great Barrington. The towm has much better restaurants than what exists in the Sharon/Lakeville/Limerock area. If you stay there go eat at 20 Railroad Street. GREAT restaurant.

 

IMO stay at the Interlaken. That's where I hope to be staying.

 

GB is way more than 15 mins from LRP, more like 30. Stay at the interlaken or white horse. I'm lucky, i have relatives that live in Lakeville.

What NASA event is happening?

 

Lime Rock Park is 15 miles from Great Barrington. I have clocked it numerous times.

 

The interlaken is one of the more popular places, but like most of the ones near the track, relatively expensive. I've stated at the White Hart quite a few times also. The cheapest I could find was the Sharon Motor Lodge, and the rooms aren't THAT bad.

Anyone need someone to split the hotel room cost with on the 11th, I'm running out of cash trying to finish the brakes on the car before the 11th, but I would like to not have to drive up the morning of.

 

White Hart's pretty nice. Dinner's pricey there though, but quite gourmet if that's your thing.

 

Days Inn, Great Barrington. Make your reservation on line and save a couple $$. I only stay there on multi-day schools.

 

Interlaken Inn? WTF? That place is for royalty and movie stars. I need a $40 hotel. You guys must have mad cash.
