Ok so, here is the deal. I have two eg civic transmissions. One from a 94 dx and one from a 94 cx. It's my understanding that they are the same inside and out with the exception of different final drives in each one. Does anyone know differently? My goal is to combine the best of both to make a good one. Both have bad Input shaft bearings so I'll be doing the bearings etc. Its this possible? Can I, say, take the 3rd gear from one and put it in the other and it be ok? Can simply take the main shaft and all its gears and put it in another? Any guidance would be great.
