Just wondering anyone have any good suggestions on how to clean white rims. they tend to attract a lot of brake dust and misc. debris!

thats what i did with mines

 

next time you clean them try putting a coat of a good synthetic wax on the wheel. this will stop the brake dust from sticking to the wheel and will make it wasier to clean

 

 

I think the paint of the rims will get offically fu(ked up after number of time. JK

I think you're safe there, Ace...wax is A-OK on all other painted surfaces

btw i was thinking of gettin white rims before too(for my white car)
but cleaning those rims will kill me...since iam lazy as fu(k...

cleaning the rims aren't that bad...i mean i wash my car 1-2 times a week and that is enough to keep the rims clean. depends on what kind of brake pads you use as well.

it's official white wheels suck!

 

white wheels are as bad as any wheel to clean. just once a week and don't be grandma on the brakes and you're straight. use http://www.p21s.com on them and it'll eliminate the dirt quick. just spray on and spray off.

 

I used p21s on my 17" white konig verdicts - kept them mint for a few months until I finally sold them.

I'd just spray em' down...and with my fingers (i have subzero's) i would just wipe the dirt and brake dust off-- then i would go over it with some kind of wheel cleaner. They're not bad to clean, just when they're dirty, its more apparent.

aren't higher quality rims such as volk,mugen, advan's have a clearcoat on them so they are much easier to keep clean !?

Those wheels suck too! Just because theyre Mugens doesnt mean theyre God's gift to the aftermarket wheel industry!! Personally I think almost every wheel Mugen makes is ugly! Im must have bad taste to me!

Actually i think my grammars quite well. You cant insult my typing skills all you want but no matter what, Those wheels are still UGLY!!!

 

those wheels look tight imo but i agree with you that not everything mugen is the best looking. especially the five star rims with the rivets

Yes, in fact, simply because they're a Mugen product means they're of superior quality and craftsmanship...so therefore consider them gods gift to you (if you can even afford them)
