there was a post a while back basically just dumping on RSX drivers talking about how they had ITR envy and had so much to prove.

I just wanted to say that I agree........ any guy/girl in a car can be like that.

I came across a zero a while back in an RSX-S that wanted to race me in the middle of a traffic jam??????

revving his engine and looking at me all hard?????

dumb ***! I just rolled down my window and said, "Ok lets race from 0-5mph stupid f***k!"

Today I had a RSX-S roll up on me on the freeway and he honked and gave me a thumbs up......

just wanted to pass that on.

the rsx and the itr a basically half brothers so instead of itr and rsx owners not getting along might as well just respect one another.

 

everygroup of people have their goods and bads ...whether it be Civic people , or neon people...

I had a mod'd E36 M3 w/ a looking driver follow me around in traffic a few weeks back. When the lane next to me cleared, he z00m'd over next to me. I was ready to give him a WTD salute, but he lowers his window and w/ a huge smile on his face, "NICE CAR!!" and give me the - LOL Not sure if he heard me, but I returned a compliment about his M3

the rsx s, cl s and tl s are about all around performance from interior, audio, suspension and engine. believe me your not going to see a rl type s or a civic type s.

 

I think that's silly. Honda is just a car company. Somebody's choice of transportation says nothing of his character. If anything, I dislike most Honda drivers.

I hate all this "car family" rubbish.

 

I was driving my friends ITR for a few days this week while my car was in the shop. Anyway, I'm just minding my own business, trying to get home from work. I'm getting reved-on and headlights flashed at me. I think that the ITR is a car that every idiot need to prove something to.

 

the Type S has always stood for Performance+luxury ....yes it has been used by honda .... in japan

 

tell me about it.. i was at a stoplight yesterday morning going into work, and some old guy in a porsche boxter revved at me!! I was like "what the?!".. I expect it from the altezza tail civic kids, but c'mon.. lol.. he did ask me to roll down my window and gave me compliments on the R though.. hehe..

 

Too many jackass drivers out there make a bad name for all the unassuming, friendly ones. It's always nice to smile and wave or give the thumbs up to someone, but so often that's not returned. Or you end up with those morons who want to rev you in traffic and practically cause accidents. There's plenty of good natured RSX and RSX-S drivers out there, i've met a few. It just seems like all the arseholes are always around.

 

I have to disagree with that statement... I've owned both cars (2 ITRs and now a RSX-s) and overall I've found with time, that my RSX is a better car, overall...
(I'll get flame for saying that...) But it's just my opinion as an ex ITR owner

I miss my R for 2 things only:
-track events
-unique car (few on the road, I see RSX-S everywhere)

Now I've a more complete, daily driving, oriented car (gotta love the 6th gear).
The ride is not as crazy as it used to be in my ITR but I've gained more compare to what I lost.

Don't hate the RSX-S because of some morons on the road or by test driving the car for 15 minutes.

I would still be driving an ITR, but life and thiefs (see sig for details) forced me to go another direction. Now I've discovered the RSX-S and I'm glad I did.

It's diversity that makes you appreciate what you got. And btw, if by any chance we get a RSX-R in a near future... My name is already on the list.

That was me who posted while back and the another kid who owned one had asked me if I will sell my R to him because he is giving his brother the RSX-S.
I refused and now everytime I see him on local streets, he haunts me from
