Wats gud everyone? I just got a 99 Acura TL 3.2 this is going to be my first project im looking forward to get some tech advice from anyone a pro a honda acura lover dont matter!!! JDM LOVE!! first i wanna give some background from my car!! Im the second owner fron the car, i have contact with the previous owner A+ the car was mint meaning the first owner took well care of the 3.2 beat i now have!!!im not a mechanic or expert so this is why im am here i need help i want to get the best for my car!!!
SO FIRST I WANT TO START BY GETTING A SHORT RAM INTAKE!!!
THE QUESTION IS WHICH N WHY INTAKE SHOULD I GET FOR MY CAR???????

 

Good luck keeping that car nice in Washington Heights. Hope it doesnt get shot. LOL Keep an eye on that tranny. 99's held up a lil better than the 00-03's. As far as the short ram, don't do it. Get a cold air. Good luck

everytime i search for a short ram or cold air nothing that fit a 99 come up only 00 to 03!! it will fix my car too?

 

Good to see you have a garage for it. I worked there for a while (construction) near 181st by those apartment buildings. Cars have rough lives there. lol Check out Acurazine.com for your car. You should get lots of help there for it. I had an 03 TL-S, they are good cars, just be careful with the trannies.

If you ever want some real power you will need to do away with the bottleneck stock cat/converter and exhaust, the best way Ive found for the $$ on my j32a2 is a ebay hi-flow cat for 01 accord v6 and extend it 2"s and do a single 3" exhaust pipe with a 18" resonator into a muffler that isn't straight through.
