Default What brake pads do aftermarket big brake kits use???

Just wondering, what kind of brake pads do aftermarket "big brake" kits use? I am talking about the ones that come with their own 2 piston / 4 piston calipers, etc? Are these made to fit the stock pads or is a special brake pad?

I wouldn't necessarily say that...what do you consider "outdated" though? lol...

Most BBK manufacturers keep the same style pad, regardless of the new caliper designs (in my experience)

My kit was pretty reasonable though brand new (like $600)....so i hope your getting a stellar deal. lol

LOL, well I am offered this BRAC-X big brake kit which has 4 piston calipers, 12" rotors, ss lines, etc. from a shop that has closed. $350 but it does not come with the pads so I am not sure if I should get it or just keep my current setup which is brembo rotors and ceramic pads...

Oh and apparently Brac-X use to be sold / made by Arospeed (???) ...

Geez man, although I was able to find a bunch of articles on the setup stating that its a solid system if i were you I'd stray away...just for the simple fact that this kit is from 07's to 09's. I was unable to find any parts or item that related to this kit.

Haha, firstly THANK YOU for taking the time to search about it cos I spent over 3 hours myself tryin to find out about this kit and barely, I mean like BARELY any info. Its like the company went up in smoke lol. I have decided to just update my current setup to Hawk ceramic pads, Russell SS lines, speed-bleeders (so I can bleed it myself ) - I already have Brembo rotors and besides, this car is only driven half the year basically. I put no more than 1200 miles on it a year lol, so I think this setup is adequate also considering that I dont hit 20 psi on a daily basis
