I am trying to figure out the coolant system sensor wiring. I have a 1996 Accord EX F22b1 that I swapped over to manual trans from the autotragic. I took pics of everything on my iPhone so that I would have reference of where all the sensors go. Too bad my phone took a crap, and lost all the data. Can someone tell me which wires go where on the engine coolant temp sensors? Apparently there is one that signals the ECM, and two that control the fans. Plus I have a connection that has one black wire, and one green wire. They both have silver dots all of the way down them. I have a manual, and a shop print out from Mitchell. Yet, the wiring has been a royal pain.

 

The ones for the fans should have green plastic-two wires, on to the t-stat, the other to the housing where the upper hose goes.

There is a one wire connector for the temp gauge (female bullet type).

The ECT is under the dist, two wire...I see the colors as GRN/BLU and RED/WHT-but that is on a 94

 

Thank you. That was my guess. However, I wanted to be sure. Does anyone know what the two wire connector goes to with one black wire, and one green wire?

 

Oh yeah, and which wires go to the reverse light switch in the tranny? I can't wait to get this thing running again.

 

What color is the "plastic" around it? About where is it located.

 

The plastic is grey. It is coming from the main harness on the passenger side of the engine firewall area.
