CIVIC TOTALLED: Buy Back or Not? Opinions Please.
I have to choose today. i have a swap planned anyway, and a car to drive meanwhile. AAA said $700 to buy back my 94 EX Coupe (D16Z6 SOHC VTEC) after an Explorer hit me head on, each of us going ~25mph. the only problem is that AAA will not tell me if the unibody is bent or not. if it is, is my car worth >$700 in parts, or should i scrap it (or go to the salvage auction to try to buy for less)? aside from the front, everything else is in good shape. (i already pulled my aftermarket rims and stereo, but have the original steelies and deck with code). the engine still runs. suggestions please?

This is Type R related how?
hehe champ, i am also 'anti-rice', so no badges or apc stickers; i was planning an itr swap into it, so it as just as related as posts about stolen GSRs; GSRs get stolen, so do ITRs, Civics crash, so do ITRs. anyway, thanks for the help.

I'd inspect the car thoroughly if you are given the opportunity. I see no reason why the insurance company wouldn't let you come take a look at their place. Good luck.
