what is sensor below battery?
1990 honda accord ex
I removed the air filter and tubes to put in a short ram air intake. The short ram had two inlets to attach rubber tubing (near the top of the intake, farthest from the filter), which I attached. On the original intake, there are some plastic tubing that goes under and to the left of the battery compartment. There is another tube that connects to the duct there attached to some kind of sensor/contraption.
Anyone know what this is?
The short ram didn't have an inlet to attach THIS sensor.. I read somewhere that there is something that you can cap off on 4th gen hondas, something extra that you don't need on a short ram install, is this it? I hope it is, I drove it already without this attached to the new ram duct, nothing happened.

There is a resonator chamber with various tubes going to it, there is also a kind of hot air intake with a diaphragm that opens and closes depending on the air temp. These are usually removed or bypassed when a short ram or cold air filtration system is used.
