Default My teg, not too special but i tried

THE CAR WAS STOLEN, PROJECT OVER.............................................. .

Well heres how she started out and some progress, nothing as crazy as some of you guys but i did my best for the exp i had at the time, made tons of mistakes that i have now learned from i guess, car would be way better had i set a real plan out. But heres some info on it

THIS IS HOW I TOOK HER HOME

SOME MORE OLDER PICS

AFTER THE FIRST TIME IT WAS PAINTED

AFTER SOME BODYWORK, SHE STILL LOOKS ****ED UP THOUGH.

BEFORE THE REMOVAL AND THE WIRING

TAKING OUT SOME OF THE SOUND DEADENER, AND TRUNK

AFTER THE ABS REMOVAL AND SOME OF THE WIRING

SOME MORE PREP WORK, GETTING CLOSER TO BEING DONE

JUST SOME RANDOM PICS

MODS:
Hytech replica header
2.5 exhaust/resonator with a hytech twinloop muffler
Blox Intake manifold
Hondata Intake manifold gasket
3inch shortram with velocity stack, cai would make more power
Blox type A cams
PS and AC delete
Itr throttlebody
Function and Form type 1 coils
bunch of weight saving via multiple items removed

DYNO AFTER CAMS, with a 2.75 intake not the 3inch currently and only the ws2 exhaust

Best track times before suspension, new exhaust and some added weight savings

15.02@ 94 or 95mph
2.4 60ft

Cars not fully together yet but im assuming with the coils new exhaust and some of the weight savings that the car mite be able to do a mid low 14. But ive lost the drive to really keep the modding going

Well the cars been down nearly 8months maybe even more because i tore it apart completely had no plan of attack and work was cutting hrs so i had no money to keep the progression as fast as i needed it to be.

When i took it apart my plan was to clean it up and try to atleast make it look better because it had stock suspension and took a beatin from the salt.

I took off the ws2 exhaust, i swapped it with 2.5 exhaust 12" resonator and a Real hytech muffler(VBAND axleback ftw) which you can see in one of the pics how it sits.
It has Function & Form type 1 coilovers no camber kits. It took a little while adjusting these to get to see exactly how i wanted it to sit and im still not done.

SUSPENSION:

So my suspension setup is as follows: Function 7 lcas, asr subframe brace, beaks tie bar, Function&Form type 1 coils. The only prob is the 23mm swaybar is not in the rear anymore because of the bolts that mounts the bushing snapped in the backing plate, ohh what a dam problem. So itll stay like that till i get a replacement backing plate.

ENGINE:

140k mile stock gsr block
Blox intake manifold with hondata IM gasket
ITR throttle body
Blox A's cams
3inch shortram for now with a bpi velocity stack
2.5" exhaust with hytech muffler
hytech replica header
arp headstuds, cometic headgasket
12lb i believe lightweight flywheel
Comp stage 2 clutch

WEIGHT REDUCTION:

no spare tire, jack or emergency equipment stuff
No rear seats, upper or lower. No rear seatbelts or brackets
Pass airbag removed
AC and PS removal,
All sound deadener removed, not for those who like quiet cabins thats for sure
abs delete, man that unit is heavier than youd think
evaporator deleted
No abs module in the car along with all the harness equipment that goes to it

BODY MODS:

All rear emblem holes shaved, rear antenna hole shaved
rear wiper deleted
side molding shaved
front emblems shaved

also have a vacuum and oil pressure gauge in my quad pod made gauge pod as you can say. Just havent gotten a sandwich plate for it yet.

The quarters look okay but not near as great as some of your guys cars, your best bet is to buy new quarters for that perfect oem look. It took my old man a long long time to reshape them to even look decent, he hated doing it.

Ive lost alot of steam on this project between money and things not going exactly how i want it too.

Pretty much the plan is to finish sanding the parts and prepped for a flatblack primer sealer, put all the panels back in, find the parts that i put away 8months ago and drive it because it sucks not having the teg on the road, atleast ill have a good month with it im hoping.

Ive driven the car a few times and after all the wiring coils and other **** ive done the car seems to pull just as hard if not harder than before, spins 2nd if i choose 2(not saying its making a ton of power by any means) but for what it is its not bad. Brakes just as good if not better than before. I havent driven it far because it has no bumpers or plates on it so i do some vteccing aroudn the streets and sneak on home lol

THIS IS HOW BAD IT WAS:

PICS OF THE SUSPENSION

I do not plan on gettin anymore tegs, as much fun and problems i have i want to start fresh with a new platform, maybe a evo 8 or 08 gti. she was a hell of a project from the get go and i knew nothing then hence why progress was so ****in halfassed.

I never really launch the car hard, with the innovative 75as i couldnt launch higher than 2k or i would just rip the **** out of the tires. I was also on 140k mile stock suspension that had such lift and drop i think it didnt help at all.

I did nothign but bolt it up, That is a CLOCK POD by QUAD POD, just put the gauges in and go. only word of advice is if you stick it with the 3m tape he gives you be super careful removing it because i pulled 2 hard and seperated both parts, that was my fault. Vac gauge on the left, elec oil press on right, aint hooked the press up because no sandwich plate and now idk if i even wanna do anymoe to it,

If i could run the car in 2 weeks id think it would cut low 14s

Im seriously contemplating selling this car and starting over

KinDx its a hotrod flat black, i guess it kid of looks satin. It was painted by a paintgun not aerosol cans or anything. Waiting to get the rest of the parts painted and a few mistakes fixed.

It dont suck to me trying to sell it, i just wanna start over with a different platform and hope i can get what i want for the car when all is said and done. I know the next owner will enjoy it

i have no idea what your trying to say with that post. But you can prime something many colors. This is a hotrod black primer not aeresol bullshit or anything.

BTW the cars going to be for sale here shortly, just curious what kind of offers you think this car could bring? i have a mod list if anyone is really interested, But the newest things are the coilovers and the hytech twinloop muffler with about 5miles on them
