obd1 conversion

Default obd1 conversion

doing this on my crx as we speak, the distributor I bought seems to be wrong. Only one ear lines up. Anyone know what dizzy's line up perfect and what ones dont?

You gave us nothing to go off of...

What engine? D15B2? B16? B18? or what? What distributor did you buy, for what engine?

sounds like you bought a non-vtec distributor for your vtec motor. return it if you can and get the correct one for the obd1 version of your motor. GL

Yea sorry, I've got a a6. The dizzy I have only one ear will line up. The rest are off.

What is the Stamping number of the Distributor you bought:
ex. TD02U, TD41U???

im pretty sure this one will work. TD-41U dizzy

the pictures compare a 92-95 d15b7 dizzy(td-41u) to a 88-91 d16a6 dizzy.(td-18u)

Ahh yes, the force is strong in this one (Google). The D15B7 will work flawlessly, I just did this to an '89 Civic Si a couple months ago using that distributor and a P06 ECU.

yea that is what i had on my old d15, the same dizzy and same ecu. if you decide to move to a b18a/b or b20 you can use the same dizzy and ecu also. only one ear will line up but i only use 2 ears with my ls dizzy on my b20 anyway for quick removal when something breaks and i want to troubleshoot
