ok. Then the guy who i bought the car off of must have done something else because when i turn on my car with no clicks.. my outside headlights turn on, with one click the turning lights and outside headlights come and with two click turning lights are on, the outside headlights are on and the dashlights come on, when i turn on my highbeams its the only time my inside headlights turn on..
your inside headlights are your highbeams , so that one explains itself. but as for the others, he messed up the wiring somehow. idk what to tell you.
heres a pic of my car with the headlight switch on the column on only one click

btw those are my old wheels, and i took the sticker off so dont hate. lol

what i would do is take a look at the wiring underneath the front bumper and headlights and see what exactly is going on, maybe we can help, just create a new thread title and say "headlight wiring issue" or something, we should help fix the issue.
You live in Canada. Canada is one of the very few countries in the world that forces automakers/importers to install permanently-illuminated headlamps on all cars sold as new (or on cars that are less than 15-years-old when imported). This is why, when the car is running, you cannot turn your headlights off while still having the parking lights illuminated, which is the situation seen in the video you referenced.
The federal Daytime Running Light (DRL) law took effect for vehicles assembled after June 30th 1990. To return to the traditional headlamp function that obtained prior to June 30th 1990, you must remove the DRL computer (sometimes called a "relay"), and modify it.
DRL function is linked to the parking brake. Modifying the DRL computer involves a bit of cutting and soldering to fool the DRL computer into thinking the parking brake is always applied. If it believes the parking brake is applied, it will shut off the DRLs, and you will be able to use your headlamp switch in the traditional manner: no clicks, OFF; one click, parking-lamps only; two clicks, headlamps plus parking lamps.
Disabling the DRLs carries no penalties in most provinces (I think Nova Scotia may be an exception), but if your province has an annual safety inspection, you should check to see if DRL function is one of the items inspected. Ontario has no annual inspection, and cares not at all if your headlamps are on, or not, during the day.
