so i have a pheonix yellow integra, and i have gold axis og oldskools. i love the stance of the wheels, i just dont like the color combo, i think gold and yellow doesnt really flow well.

im either going to repaint the integra, (which i dont want to do) or repaint/powdercoat the wheels.

i have the only yellow integra in my area, so id rather keep it yellow and just get the paint re-done
so i need some help.

what color would you suggest for the wheels? keep the lip polished?

I think almost everyone here will tell you to do what you want, as its your car.

Personally, I always thought darker colors looked good on yellow...something like this:

 

i think white is the best color for yellow tegs

 

i was actually thinking of doing them that color.. its similar to the og sans color. either that or pc them all white..

 

I would powder coat them a gunmetal

 

matte black face, polished lip.

 

black n polish like mentioned or all black. id love to have those wheels in all black. Whats the wheel spec?

they are 15x8 , i was thinking one solid color, like all white or all black, i guess we'll see what my painter charges..

 

Just strip the paint off and polish em up. theyll look good with the yellow if theyre fully polished

 

ahhh that would take forever with these wheels though. its already hard enough cleaning them let alone sanding them.. lol

 

i vote black! I prefer 16's but with that much lip they dont look small to me. And the low profile tires probably help them appear bigger. Tire size? And what offset are they at?- just looked em up and they only came in +25.

The fit looks real good and doesnt look like you might rub. My passenger front rubs on hard bumps and u turns or driveways with 16" 45 series tires. I may have to try out a 15x8 combo one day.

But the paitience would pay off. Not alot of people fully polish these wheels. Youll have something really unique.

 

My personal opinion:

Gunmetal is the best 'color' on yellow cars. I can see white but I don't really like that look.

What's ALWAYS going to be classy is silver or polished. Always looks good, never going out of style.

IMO polished lips are played out ditto for black, for the most part.

as far as the scene has come i think a lot of stuff is played out...but thats for a reason certain things or parts just look damn sexy together...with that said i say gun metal or flat black face with polished lip...hell try trading some1 for the graphite colored sans so u wont have to actually modify your rims
