10 west freeway
saw an ef with gsr rims...stuck on 3rd lane, tow truck in front..looked like one of the HT member.. just wondering if anyone of you guys.

wow what a small world... is this the car you saw?
Yup that was me.. i was merging onto the 10 from the 605.. and i had been driving with a fouled up distributor for a while. All of the sudden my car dies, and i look to see that there is NO shoulder to pull over on.. luckily some dudes in a truck pulled me to the closest offramp.. that sucked... but i fixed it anyway with one of my older distributors i had in my car
Yup that was me.. i was merging onto the 10 from the 605.. and i had been driving with a fouled up distributor for a while. All of the sudden my car dies, and i look to see that there is NO shoulder to pull over on.. luckily some dudes in a truck pulled me to the closest offramp.. that sucked... but i fixed it anyway with one of my older distributors i had in my car

Hey, i'm thinking of getting a similiar set up as you. I already have the i/h/e and a chipped ECU. I'm now thinking of getting a better flowing head along with a good cam. How fast is your car actually if you've ever timed it. If not, does it at least feel alot faster than stock?

Never been able to time it, but pretty fast for what it is.. It pulls much harder than stock (when its running right). Ive compared other cars.. i can beat my friend's EF with d16a6 (15.6 1/4) by about a few cars. I can take EG's, and DA's with b16.. i can hang with my friends B16a EF until 3rd gear when he puts a couple of cars on me..

OH ya that was u!! i thought id recognize it..dang that sux..ur distributor.. you get it fixed yet? haha..so youre the one that caused the traffic!! sheesh!

yeah i fixed the distributor for now.. but i still need a new one. This is the 3rd distributor what has fried on me.. good thing i always keep a spare with me. but im running out.
