95 Prelude Si rear pad change - QUICK HELP PLEASE!
I offered my co-worker to change his rear disc pads on his Prelude (non-ABS) at lunch today (in an hour!!). Problem is, I don't have a manual or anything for Preludes, just EF Civics.
Can anyone just tell me if there's anything different, or any special steps about retracting calipers, adjusting handbrakes, etc on this??
BTW, I've done many pad swaps before on disc brakes (Civics, Accords, Mazdas, VWs), just want to make sure there's no surprises.
I'm his last hope cuz he needs to pass inspection tomorrow morning and I'm the only one that can help him out.
Thanks in advance.

Nope, shouldn't be any surprises........adjusting the handbrake is done by tightening the nut on the metal line located just behind the handbrake under the center console thingy, so have your friend take the plastic stuff off while you change the pads, then adjust the handbrake....

Sorry took me so long to respond. The pad change was so easy. Took me like 30 minutes, from the moment we jacked up the car to putting it down. We didn't change the rotors, which looked to still be good. Also, retracting the pistons into the calipers was easy because they basically just screw back in there.
btw, I'm near DC.
