Barn Find 1993 Integra
Well, it wasn't a barn. But the elderly parents of some family friends put their well kept one owner car away in their garage 4 years ago when the clutch went out. Health issues forced the removal of the car, and I was asked to please bring my flatbed trailer down, and haul it out. 1993 LS, 5spd, 101,000 miles. New clutch is in now and it's like a new car. Not sure what to do with it yet, but thought I'd share the photos with you all.

What do you mean, "Not sure what to do with it yet" your keeping it right?
Let's see, near mint unmolested G2 LS 5 speed with just 100,000 miles on it, owned by an elderly couple.
First thing is to stop teasing us with pix, pretty sure there are a few out there with drool coming out of the sides of their mouths right about now, not counting the ones that **** their pants.
Tell me you do not have IMs with offers to buy already.
I see a bidding war starting.
Very nice find. 94

What I would do with it:
1. Quality coilovers, drop it 1.5"-2".
2. A nice set of wheels
3. Replace exhaust with an old school Mugen or HKS one.
4. Replace steering wheel with one of those wooden "old school" looking ones.
5. Drive it carefully! :-)

Hehe. Thought you guys might like it. Pictures were taken at Sioux Passage. Engine bay just looks,.....like a stock engine bay. So yeah, I'd like to put springs, wheels, exhaust on it....but part of me thinks it might be a shame to stray from stock at this point. It would make a nice commuter car for me,...I have a V8 Lexus and a 4runner so the integra would certainly be a welcome addition at the gas pump. Having two cars already, I will admit that selling it has crossed my mind. I wish I had a third garage spot for it.
sell the lexus before you part with that gem! any acura fanatic would more then likely sell their left nad to find something that mint, let alone be able to trailer it off for FREE.. which im assuming you did because you never stated you paid anything besides gas to haul it away for them.
To be honest, I'm not a fan of the DA, but this thing is absolutely MINT. IMO it should be kept 100% stock like it is.. Just too perfect. No real value, but something about it really turns my crank! Freakin` virgin, this thing!
Would be a perfect DD for an OCD perfectionist Type R owner... ****. I would keep this thing in my garage, and put my gsr on the street in a heart beat.
Damn man, I'm not saying I'd mold a wide body kit and put neons under it lol. Those are some pretty tasteful mods IMO, but then again, we all have our own opinions. All of those mods have no downside to me as long as you don't go overboard with them.
haha I agree those are tasteful mods, but look at this virgin! I mean, how often do you see an unmolested, all original mint DA? NEVER.
Get excited about a mint barn-find DA ... then ruin it with racer mods. Don't follow the logic, lol
My advice, keep it minty, factory fresh or sell it to someone who will! Not too many of those around anymore, they'll be collectors's items some day.
Edit: Or do a k-swap lol

haha I can understand the sentiment.
2 years ago I bought a mint 1996 Integra GS-R with 52k on it. I planned on getting the usual bolt-ons and suspension upgrades. So far I only added about 5k more miles on it, OEM foglights and an OEM style mp3 CD player which connects to the factory cassette deck. But since it's such a minty fresh virgin I'm really hesitant to do any more modifications to it.

Gagner, Milano, White95, you guys seem to get my drift. I just heard the racetrack here in STL is supposed to re-open. I have spent some time road-course-racing miata's and autocross before that. I would LOVE to have a street-able track toy to run HPDE's etc. The temptation to put springs, shocks, etc on the car will be strong. Wheel/tire package I don't care about because that's an easy on/off swap if I decide to sell, but anything else just seems like sacrilege. Good thing there are car-nerds like you guys out there....otherwise I'd just be weird all by myself. My fiance would say "It's a car...who cares?" Ugh!

Do what you want to do to the car. If you are going to go with the modifications that you said you wanted to do I advise you to keep the stock parts so if you wanted to turn it back to a stock original integra you can.
95 Integra is right on...
This is not a car I would want to be modding let alone racing.... It's an interesting topic though, because, it's not like it's a 69 Camaro, or a Type R or something.. I mean, after all it's an old DA Integra with over 100,000 miles... BUT the thing is bone stock and MINT, and something about it makes me want to park it in the garage and keep it mint. Whatever you decide to do with it is obviously up to you, but it's a beautiful car.

WOW
You might as well have won the lottery lol. Everybody has their mod/nonmod opinions so do what YOU want. I personally would leave it stock and take it to car shows to share with the enthusiast community, because that my friend is a beautiful thing (and I would give my left nut for it lol).
