What did you do to your Accord today?
1990 Accord SE Sedan
Well, I realized that I had some oil on the underside of the distributor cap. I pulled the cap off and there was some oil pooled inside the cap as well. I changed out the distributor O-ring about 2-3 months ago but did not get a chance to change the internal shaft seal. So, today, I replaced the internal shaft seal of the distributor. Hopefully no more oil leak coming from this area.
Next up, remove the power steering reservoir and clean the mesh filter. My power steering fluid is foaming and I know that the driver's side boot on the steering rack is torn so I will be replacing that soon also....

Fuel filter, swap your rubber clutch hose for a stainless steel braided one, check all the power steering hoses and junk back there thats hard to reach. Anything you take out that's busted/worn out. Replace it, especially if it's hard to get at. Clean your EGR ports. Inspect the motor mounts. Inspect/replace worn front suspension parts while you have it apart.
My VSS just started giving me problems on my way to work earlier today. Transmission jerks, S light blinking, speedometer not working or showing random speeds. Checked the codes while at work and got a code 4 from the S light and a code 17 from the CEL. I replaced the VSS with an ebay unit about 2 years ago and appears to have failed. I will probably go the eBay route again though.
Gave her another bath and a quick detail. I took a little trip to the family farm and man she was dirty.
I've got a few projects coming up. Finish the trunk carpeting, new paint, a set of rims, two more new tires for the rear before the snow hits, and an alignment.

I just got finished cleaning my throttle bodt, IACV, EGR valve, and checking the FITV. Car idles a lot better but if I give it some gas and then let it drop back down, it drops to nearly 0RPM and also I can hear a burping sound coming from the air inlet around the air filter. I took the filter cover off and can see some oil in the air inlet tube that goes from the air filter to the throttle body. Sigh.....
I see. Yeah, my old pwr str pump was leaking so bad that it was all over my engine block and made it look like my engine's leaking oil, etc. So I got that good one from a buddy of mine for free and finally decided to throw it on after a month or so of having it. It's all nice and clean in there now. No more leaks. Also cleaned my pwr str resevoir too. Looks good now.
Spliced some wires, put the dash bar back in, put the steering column back up, installed a new thermostat and housing, cleaned up some interior wiring(working on a little rerouting).
Finished hacking the crap out of my front bumper so it would fit with my intercooler and piping, then fixed my boost spike problem. Next on the to do list is getting downpipe and dump tube fabbed up, some wiring and then finally a tune.
Had to replace the plastic pedal pad that pushed the switch that tells the computer the clutch is disengaged. Car wouldn't start. Replaced one of the rubber pedal pads, and ordered some odds and ends.

Reason I had to buff and waxed the CF Hood is because of the lame sprinklers that left some nasty unremovable water marks. I was pissed. It took me 5-6 buffs to finally get rid of it to where you won't see it; unless, you know what you're looking for. Those sprinkler must of have some kind of chemicals in them to almost ruin the clearcoat on my CF Hood.
Lesson learned. Stay away from water sprinklers.
Fuel filter, valve cover gasket kit, new plugs, wires, dizzy cap & rotor. Gonna redo valve cover gasket kit because lower seals are leaking into my spark plug well
