Default Mugen Lowdown and Hardrace bushing installed

Stock piled a bunch of parts and finally got around to installing them.
Can't believe I waited this long to do everything, as the car feels incredibly better!

For those of you who have been putting off replacing your worn bushings, do yourself and your car a favour and replace them! I had creaks, and noises coming from my endlinks and sway bars for a while. The car was sloppy and not nearly as responsive as it use to be.

I initially called PIC and emailed them. Not impressed with their customer service one bit. No one returned my calls or emails. I gave hardrace a shot.

Was impressed with the quality of the hardrace bushings and fixed all the noises coming from my suspension right away on all bumps, during normal cruising and especially during spirited corners
The whole car just feels tighter and more connected.
I got front and rear end links, front lca's, front compliance bushings, RTA, and im missing another. Great buy!

Mugen Showa/Lowdowns:
I have been research the crap out of coilovers for our cars for a very long time. I wasn't happy with a lot of stuff out there as my car is 90% street driven and having 12k/10k setup down doesn't work on downtown roads and over streetcar tracks. I have driven in cars with PIC, omni, and a few other chinese crap coils and wasn't impressed (PIC isn't chinese, they were my 2nd choice if their customer service wasn't so bad).
I loved the OEM setup but wanted the reliability, a slightly stiffer, and slightly lower ride. Also didn't want to mess with adjustable coilovers because my car is winter driven and they can seize from sail.
So I found the perfect compromise!!

What's better than OEM? Mugen working with honda to make suspension that's just slightly higher spring rates, slightly lower and adjustable dampening! Perfect!

They were well worth the wait, and I feel they are the perfect street suspension for a Type R. Just my .02$

Love my car again! Such a joy to drive around in again. Find myself taking slightly longer routes to get where Im going again.

Nice, i installed hardrace bushing on my itr not too long ago, and i noticed a big difference....Only problem is my rear right side is getting a squeak.

I thought it was because my brother didn't pre-load the suspension. So i loosened everything up and pre-loaded my suspension and re-tightended everthing. It did minimize the sound but i still hear a small squeak....I dont know....Maybe i have to grease the rear trailing arm bushing.

I am currently running Koni Yellows w/ stock springs and stock height. It feels great.

Pm where you got you Mugen Lowdown's and price please

I got the Lowdowns locally. Paid $600 for them :D
Don't think the guy knew what he had...

Have only ever seen 2 locally. Right place at the right time I guess.

Sounds like a nice street setup. I am surprised that you found PIC to have poor customer service. I wouldn't judge them on just one bad experience. When I felt with them I couldn't have of been more pleased. He walked me through the spring rates and helped me choose the right setup for me and my budget. Shipping was fast as well. Keep enjoying your R!
