Default CRX si rear stabilizer arm on a dx?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've never owned/worked on an SI CRX before. I found a complete stock rear suspension stabilizer / bracket system off a 91 crx si for cheap in a local ad.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to retro-fit it on my 90 DX, especially considering how cheap I could pick it up for.

Would I run into any issues? Are there any differences between the undercarriage or trailing arms of the SI and DX which could create mounting problems?

The part I'm talking about is #7

no issues. The civic and CRX bars are directly interchangeable.

To change to rear discs you will most likely need some other parts. For example: 40/40 brake bias, disc/drum parking brake cables are different (so if you plan on being able to use your parking brake you need that).

The rear sway bar can be attached to a dx, but note that many of the dx chassis do not have the nut welded in the frame rail. You can still install a rear bar but it you may need to get creative or buy a bar with it's own mount system. One last thing, the CRX bar is 2mm bigger so if you can get one - go for the crx bar.
CRX si = 15mm
Civic si = 13mm

I just realized I didn't word my question very well, I don't own a hatch. What I meant was, will the bar off an si crx install pretty much directly onto my dx crx? (I have stock drum trailing arms)

Yes. You need:

- Rear Sway Bar (from either 88-91 civic/crx)
- Mounting Brackets
- endlinks
- Rear Control Arms that are threaded
- Hope, Pray, for a small miracle that your Chassis is threaded so you can attach the mounting brackets to the chassis. or else you have to do something like this guy.
