Occasionally I will start up my car and everything works great. Most of the time it does not work. It will never start or stop working while driving, only if I turn the car off and then on again. Tacometer always works.

It started off mostly working and occasionally not working a few months ago. Now it usually does not work but occasionally works. Any ideas on how to fix?

OK so I have the speedometer/odometer issue. Everything else on the dash (except for that stupid ABS light that has always been on) works fine. They will work then not work. Sometimes a bump will fix it or the opposite. I've read many things on these forums but getting very confused. So at this point of the cars life should I care that much? I would like to fix it just to see if I can, but if it's that much trouble, I'm thinking of just dealing with it. Let me know, thanks again.
