Default 96 Integra DB7 RS B20B swap question...

Hey HT,

I'm in the process of swapping in a B20B into my 96 Integra RS sedan. I tried searching all over google for my answers before I posted this thread and have had no luck.

I wanted to know if I would still be able to use the LS power steering pump and AC compressor for the B20B?

Also from what I was reading people have switched over from OBD2 to OBD1 to it too run "better" Is this worth doing?

Any advice / input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance !

your integra is obd 1, you can use your ac compressor and ps pump the brackets are the same, in my case i used my ls crank pulley in order to use the oem part #'s for the belts, if you want to use the b20 pulley get a crv belt for your ps pump

Thanks for the input. From reading this a guy posted that 96-99 is OBD2a, so which is it? I ask this because I want to make sure everything is done right the first time and if there are any other things to do for the motor to be reliable why not.

Also I forgot to ask in my original post, I plan to just have an Intake, header, high flow cat and full exhaust. What size piping would you guys recommend?

Thanks again!

Thanks again. I plan on going with a intake, maybe an aftermarket intake manifold (Skunk2 or Edlebrock) 4-1 or 4-2-1 header, 2.5" piping to an Mugen twin loop muffler.

Would 2.5" piping effect the low end torque of the B20?

It shouldn't are you going to run a cat or a test/straight pipe?
