just have a question about installing a skunk 2 alpha header on a 06+ si. does it need an extension pipe between the header and exhaust piping or no? i know a lot of the long tube headers need the extension pipe.
also which header do you guys prefer? the skunk 2 alpha header or kidracing one? they are both about the same price looking at picking up a header and these are the two i like. would like dyno numbers if any one has tested these header before.

check 8thcivic.com for dyno results. personally i have a kiddracing header and i like it. can't speak about the alpha, however skunk2 has excellent products. kiddracing has great quality, but dealing with him was a pain. very easy to talk to until after payment. then he wouldn't reply to my emails.

You shouldn't need a test pipe/extension with the skunk2. It's designed with longer runners that go all the way to the catback. And, you're from Omaha??
