it lists MY 2000-2005 S2000. I thought the AP1's couldn't use KPRO.

The advantage of getting a AP2 for the KPro will be gone in a bit. The only power mod I ever did want to do was to add a KPro.

you just have to change a few sensors out.

I'm gonna have to send my kpro in and have it upgraded.

Where do you see 1k at? Here are the prices I found for the S2000.

"$1795 00-05 S2000 K-Pro in a new ECU with wiring harness and bracket.
$1395 00-05 S2000 K-Pro in a user supplied PRB ECU with wiring harness and bracket.
$450 00-05 To convert an existing K-Pro and ECU to S2000 K-Pro with wiring harness and bracket."

I'm guessing for an AP1, it is $1800 on top of all the additional sensors and stuff

Price is 995
We are now waiting for whether or not AP1's still have to use the RSX ECU still(I think so) with hardware or is this formatted to work on an AP1 ecu as is. I do think you still have to upgrade the other hardware(crank sensor, valve cover, etc). I could be wrong, no telling wtf theyre gonna do/doing so we'll just have to wait, either way I'm excited.

I've been running Kpro on an AP1 for a while. Just needs the AP2 valve cover, sensor and you have to change the crank sensor. It uses the PRB ecu.

I don't datalog that much as is. The additional memory for storage isn't worth $250.
I was told on the hondata forum that the upload times for your calibrations are cut from 30secs to 10secs.

While that may be nice and all it isn't worth $250 to me for the upgrade.

This is why I have an AEM...don't have to change sensors, don't have a need to send it in for upgrades, and it will run as smooth as a stock ECU with the proper tune.

I don't really have a need to care about how user friendly it is, that's my tuner's job. I know how all that stuff works, but I'd prefer to put it on the shoulders of someone who's done it a thousand times than worry about it myself and blow my engine up because it was 1am and I tweaked the wrong setting trying to dial it in. No thanks.

My tuners comfortable with hondata, so this upgrade will benefit me(tuner is happy, car gets happy results, I am then happy, nothing blows up
