Cables, try getting a jump. Or clean tighten the cables. That fast clicking noise is a sign of not enough power/ground.

Hard to say but it sounds like she's saying the car cranks over but does not start? I always start with ignition (do the plugs have fire) then I go to fuel system, is it getting fuel to the cyl/plugs. It's usually one or the other if the starter is turning over.

The 98 and up accord ( 6 gen) uses chipped key, so make sure you're using the right key. It happened to me once so i figure I just throw that out there. Try starting the car with starting fluid too btw.

Yes if the injectors are not shooting fuel and the fuel pump is working then I would have to say check the ECU. That's what tells the injectors when to fire. I would check the fuse for the ECU first. It should be in the under the hood fuse box. If thats good then the ECU may have a problem.

If you turn the key to the Accessory position, do the power windows, lights, radio, etc work?

I've drained a battery by listening to the radio from one car while working on another. WHen I went to start the "tunes" car go that same "click" sound........have you checked the battery connections or tried what MM suggested?

Very simple, if you have a volt meter. Measure the voltage of the small wire at the starter while trying to start the car, post the voltage reading.

Did you test the starter itself?

The starter cranks and the fuel pump cycles she stated earlier. The injectors are not firing.

To the OP, no I do not believe the fuel pump has a relay. If it cycles on when you turn the key to accessory then its pumping. I'm assuming you have plenty of fuel in the tank. If the injectors are not firing its ECU related.

The main relay operates the fuel pump and supplies power to the injectors. However, in the OP's case, she already replaced the main relay and it doesn't sound like a main relay problem.

Are you getting 12v to the small wire on the starter? Angrylady never did answer that question??????

SteveZ-I don't see where the OP ever said/conformed the starter was turning the engine? Weak connection or weak battery.

Not yet I coudnt take it to dealership I will try for this wekeend and replied you back. so far it looks like ecu needs to be check and flash back to settings. I went to a honda place but honestly the owner told me he could verify anything that is wrong on the ecu but not re flash it back so it will be more $$$$ the better thing is just dealership they can check it and also re flash back they are the only ones because they have the equipment for that. I will let you know. Thanks

I had the same problem, my car wouldnt start on a very hot day because the solder joints on the main relay went bad. Ordered a new main relay online and it started right up and havent had a problem ever since. I red somewhere that the main relay acts like a switch to the fueling system so if its broken, your car will crank but will not get fuel to start.
