ok here we go. i got a 93 honda accord 2.2 ex ive done alot of work to this car got it running perfect but the other week the damn thing started do some weird stuff.here goes when i frist start the car it idles up like it suppose to warms up good but when i drive it about half a mile it just wont go got to feather the gas but when you stop and stay stoped it idles way down car starts to shake in about 10 to 15 seconds you can feel some thing in the car jerk not much but you can tell it then the idle comes up car runs perfect again but this well happen every time the car cools off or stays park for about 30 minutes to a hour so whats going on here i dont get no check engine light so i cant get no codes but i allso dont know where to look so ant help right now is big help to me thanks

 

On a limb, does it feel like the converter is "unlocking" when this jerk happens?

Again this is "out there", but you might clean/test the lock up soleniod and change the fluid if it hasn't been done recently (you said you've done a lot of work?). Aslo suggest that you use Honda trans fluid.....I know, that is a big debate starter.

 

yea it changes all gears you just got to feather the gas and when it reaches the right speed it changes
