Default cam question..

im a little confused here. Well im planning on doing a bisimoto cam on my d16z6. I will probably end up doing valve springs as well. I was also wondering if the whole timing belt assembly has to come apart. I am also due for a timing belt/water pump combo...

Can both be done at the same time? correct me if im wrong please.

I will probably end up getting my local performance shop to do the install.

Yes you need to take the timing belt off to install a new cam. So again yes you can do it both at the same time.

Depending on how aggressive the cam is, you def will need to upgrade retainers/springs. And also, yes you can do both of those at the same time during the cam swap. You have to remove the belt anyways.

While you are doing the timing belt and water pump it is a must to do the timing belt tensioner too
