So i came across an 03 desert silver metallic base RSX with tan interior(nonleather) 96k miles for $4200.car was all stock.not so taken care of though.rebuilt title due to a small hit on the driverside fender(no major frame damage) but it wasnt fixed right front end was replaced and doesnt line up too good. im planning on changing the rad support and possibly the subframe so the car gan gain line back. engine and tranny are good. the car however needed alot of tlc(in and out). i gutted the interior and pressure cleaned it. new starter. got a missing rim. and ive started to gather some parts for it. im also new to the Kseries any suggestions and advice will be appreciated

my plans for it are swapping the interior for a black(nonleather)interior

came across a good set of tires for the wheels(16s for now) but im planning on getting 05-06 typeS stocks

the car looks like a 4x4 which bothers me so i got a deal on NEUSPEED sport springs part no (55.20.47) for now. plan on konis & s techs later on

also im interested in getting an aspec wing and i was wondering if theres any replicas out there. or any marks to look out for among these

also ive seen people retrofit headlights with projectors. has anyone done it?

 

there are a lot of replica wings out there. Probably more replicas than real lol
Retrofitting is becoming pretty popular I know several who have done it. I just have plug-n-play HIDs and I'm happy with them.


So did you have any specific questions about anything? Only real questions are replica wings and headlights?

 

yeah if theres any special original markins or emblems on the original aspec wing..
and as far as the headlight projector retrofitting. can it be done on 02-04 headlights?
what projectors to use? tsx? anybody done it? im planning on 'blackout' and projector retrofitting with HIDs on 02-04 headlights. if not 05-06 front end conversion

 

I've got retro fit black out projectors on my car and it's an 2002 Type S. So yes, it can be done. However, the car came with them when I bought the car and I didn't do the install myself. I do know that a seperate positive and ground wire had to be run straight to my battery. I'll get some pictures if you'd like in case you are wondering what it would look like.

 

are you running HIDs? so are they retrofit or egay lamps? kinda like the DC5R headlamps same concept. pics would be appreciated

 

Just keep the Neuspeed springs and put on Koni's when you're ready. Progressive lowering springs are all shitty anyway.

 

yeah thats what im going to do. the car needs a drop asap. ill drop it and get it aligned for now then eventually get some coilovers.
