Default o2 sensor readings???

car is an 88 crx dx with an mpfi and sohc zc swapped in
the car is completely stock with the exception of an short ram intake

the car never seems to go into closed loop(can pull o2 plug and no check engine light ever comes on)

got the car hot and tested o2 sensor with a digital multimeter

at idle voltage hangs around .8-.7 (should be below .4 according to manual)
4000 rpm voltage is .0 (should be above .6)

running stock pm6
new o2 sensor
checked pressure with vacuum hose off 44psi
tested all the other sensors they seem fine

cant figure out why the readings are so off?

Does the Check Engine Light come on when you turn the key to accessory? It should come on for 2 seconds, you will hear the fuel pump prime and then it will go out after it's finished priming.

Have you pulled the carpet up and looked at the ECU to see if the LED is flashing for possible codes you may be throwing?

check engine light pops on for 2 seconds then off for priming the pump and no codes other than randomly throwing oxygen content code 1 every once in awhile, then u turn the car off and turn it back on and it goes away.

ecu will blink until you reset it tho

Are the reading you took at the o2 plug or at the ECU?

Maybe there is an intermittent break in the wire somewhere? If the readings at the plug are different than the ECU this would seem like a likely issue especially since you said it randomly throws the o2 code at you.

yeah im probably going to run a straight wire from the ecu to plug, but i still am trying to figure out why the readings at the o2 sensor are so off?
