Default Sleeper EG dilemma - Help me pick wheels

Guys,
I am going the sleeper route on my '93 Hatch (CX).

The car has suspension but not dropped (looks stock height), stock integra LCAs, black ASR brace, Integra disc conversion all around, Apex'I WS2 Noir with cut tip (almost invisible from behind, and super quiet).

I was happily rolling on 13" VX wheels.

I had to upgrade to 14" HX wheels to fit the Integra knuckles + calipers.

I could keep this setup, but I have the opportunity to buy ITR front calipers from a buddy of mine (already machined to fit my knuckle)... but I'll need 15" wheels for them.

Can you suggest a 15" wheel that looks stock on a 92-95 Hatch? If they made a 15" HX wheel I'd be all over it. The only option I can think of is the 96-spec ITR replica wheel.
I also heard that Enkei made an HX lookalike in 15" size.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. The goal is to have the car rolling around like it just came out of an original 92-95 Civic advertisement... well, as close as possible to the untrained eye, at least. I realize most of us would not be fooled for a second.

Thanks in advance!

99-00 civic si wheel is a 15in. Good looking wheel and not over the top. But it did come from a 99.

If it were my car, I'd sacrifice the "OEM" look for some extremely light weight wheels... like a Konig ECO1.

10.8lb wheels will be more useful then the appearance of factory, to me.

OEM wheels: GSR blades or EM1 wheels

Aftermarket wheels: Rota Group X or Auto X, or the Mugen/SSR versions if you're baulin

Why are you ricers suggesting EM1 or polished GSR blades if he wants a sleeper look on his EG???? OEM does not guarantee a sleeper look by any account, especially if it's obviously not factory standard!

I too am fond of the VX and HX rims but I don't know of any 15 Enkei HX-style rims. I do know in the year 99-00 Honda made optional wheels (that used to cost an arm and a leg) made by Enkei. They were 5 spoke and 15 inches with black Honda center caps.

My suggestion: Get some 15" steel wheels from a later Honda Civic or Fit and throw some hub caps on it. That's the only way I can think of to get it to work.

Hehe. Maybe they misinterpreted my initial question, but I agree, while I love EM1s, Fat Fives and Blades (Hairnandez's suggestion is very original too), they are clearly not factory standard. The HX wheel is not factory on 92-95 Civics either, but it's so close to the VX that it works.

I too am fond of the VX and HX rims but I don't know of any 15 Enkei HX-style rims. I do know in the year 99-00 Honda made optional wheels (that used to cost an arm and a leg) made by Enkei. They were 5 spoke and 15 inches with black Honda center caps.
The Enkei J-Speed II are pretty damn close, but the lip is a pretty clear giveaway. Some of the pics I've seen look pretty close though, especially the OEM coloured ones on a relatively stock-looking car. I'll need to see how much they weight and if Rota makes a replica of them.

Matt, that's an excellent suggestion, very tempting. They seem to be in the 'Rota price zone' too.

Complete JDM ITR swap.

Did you mean EX/SI centercaps?
That's what I have now, btw and colour must be OEM gray/silver.
Very happy with my HXs, but considering 15s to fit ITR front calipers.

This is a pic from a few months ago while she was getting the swap. I know, paintjob is next:

Here's one from last week while she was getting aligned.
The sway bar and rear shocks are going to be painted black.

I already removed the side moldings and am looking for stock mirrors.

Haha. That's an interesting approach man, but to achieve that look I'd need a Thule rack too and I can't afford both.
But seriously, even hard parkers get attention and I don't want any.

I appreciate your suggestion man, but I am trying to avoid getting steelies + hubcaps.

any 15" honda wheel will not be interepreted by anyone other than a stock car with the correct height and the correct deception plan. if you keep all the mods looking stock to the point you can't tell the exterior is anything but stock, you will succeed. just my 2 cents.

Thanks man, I agree.
Everything else looks stock and I am even about to remove the small mirrors for OEM ones.

This is my inspiration by the way... if anyone knows where I can find out more about this car I would be grateful. I searched online and even used tineye.com but was unsuccessful (my buddy emailed me the pics):

IMO, the hx wheels are perfect. If keeping the sleeper look is a priority, I'd just pass on the ITR calipers.
I mean, regular integra brakes are more than efficient on a light little hatch.

Any 15 inch wheel on an otherwise stock looking car will be interpreted as stock? Am I understanding that correctly? You don't think it can scream easy steal (at least the wheels)? See what happens when you put GSR blades on your sister's rusty stock 93 DX coupe parked in Chicago. Or just ask me: they'll get stolen, guaranteed.

C'mon, some of these comments are ridiculous.

I agree. By definition sleeper means to compromise.

I saw a sleeper EF with a complete ITR swap and he had HX wheel's with factory hubcaps over them. I thought that was pretty clever.

Whatever wheels came stock on the car go with those, just like the above teal EG. Anything else will look modified and you've got a chance of having your car stolen.
