Sohc ZC Vtec
Have a big flat spot in acceleration.
I am gonna check my engine codes because my check engine light is on.
I think I am gonna end up with a new O2 sensor but am unsure what year and model honda to buy the O2 sensor for.
My car is a 1991 CRX DX with a sohc vtec zc motor with DC header (if that matters)
What does everyone think?
Do I need to check what ecu I am running to determine what year and model honda I need to buy my O2 sensor for?
I didn't do the swap so I have no idea if I am OBD0 or OBD1...
Thanks again, I always get great guidance here.

Should have pulled the codes first.
I fear you just spent money on an O2 very blindly.
O2 often will trip when something else is wrong with the engine.
Then the O2 throws a code saying it's seeing the wrong stuff in the exhaust gasses.
... and also may throw you another code that directs you to the faulty area.

Thanks for the input, You guys are right, I did not actually order the part, it would be silly to do so without pulling the code.
The O2 sensor has 4 wires actually, whatever that means.
Also, when I owned this crx before it had a LED on the dash that flashed engine codes if it threw them, the LED is still there but not flashing any codes. The check engine light is lit up, sooooo I am gonna have to figure out how to check the codes without it or figure out why it's not working but following the wires.
Your thoughts?
again thx so much.

Having 4 wires on your O2 means the engine electronic system is OBD1. It's using an internally heated O2 sensor rather than a 1 wire O2 that just heats up with exhaust gasses.
The dash light should be solid. You need to find the little 2 wire connector under your glove box and put a jumper in the connector. Then turn the key to 'on' and the light should start blinking. This is also the connector that defeats electronic ignition timing (good to know so you remember to do that if you ever set your own ignition timing) so don't leave the jumper in there when driving it.
