i have a 91 civic dx sedan and on the climate contol the fan speed 1 and
2 dont blow at all but 3 and 4 blow as normal

does anyone know why it would do this? could it be fuse or is something
possibly wrong with the blower?

Blower motor resistor is bad, replace it.

thanks for the answer..... would the best way to get to the blower to replace the resistor would be from the dash or from under the hood?

 

BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX

 

Under the dash. Blower unit is behind the metal of the firewall so there is no way to get to it from under the hood.

remove the glove box...youll see the resistor plugged in

 

alright awesome...it'll be a simple fix since everyone gave me great info... thanks everyone!

 

mies the same thing except 1-3 goes fine and 4 doesnt work. guess ill look into getting a new resistor. thanks guys.
