i have honda accord 2001 V6 coupe. the car has transmission issue and jerks at second gear. other than the car is fine. if i accelerate slowly i dont feel any thing but when i press hard, the gear hits hard when engaging the second gear.

i know i have to change the transmission, but im here with issue with my tacho. i bought this car with dead tacho and speedo. i didnt get v6 cluster from junkyard so i replaced it with V4. now speedo is showing right but tacho is jumping high. if im at 120km/h the tacho show 5k rpm which is not right.

i need to know if the tacho issue is related to faulty transmission or is it due to v4 cluster?should i have to replace it with V6 cluster?
