I was looking at a 90 model today and on the drivers side of the fuel tank there was a plastic diaphragm that seemed to be there to vent pressure from the tank through the emission control system. Problem it appeared to be leaking fuel.

Any thoughts or experience with this matter. It only leaks when the motor is running and the electric fuel pump is pumping.

 

just replace the two way valve (the diaphragm) it should be easy

 

Drove the CRX some this afternoon. After about 5 or 6 miles the leak quit leaking. I'd checked with the Parts Dept at the dealer and that diaphragm device sells for $48 dollars and is available.

So, I guess I could be happy but I would prefer to know why this happened.
